Now how can I put that away in a box??

Happy hump day sistas! xo

You can't! What a beautiful picture! I think we need to get special lined photo box frames where we can keep our favorites and go to them right away. We could put them on the wall, and everyone else would be able to see how beautiful they were too. Trouble is - how would we decide? {#emotions_dlg.lol}

I go through spurts with my favorites. The Canyon Road series is one of mine - but just one. I'll wear it nonstop for days, then go to something else. Go figure! {#emotions_dlg.confused1}

Your sets really do look like art work, and you're lucky to have all 3 complete sets. Enjoy! Smile

Re: Any other collectors finding it...

Ali, Ali, Ali....you are too funny. Now, let's see....I can go either way, sometimes I do what I used to do when I was a child and got a special present...I put the current favorite on my night-table so I can admire it during the course of the night and leave it there for a day or so too!....or, I will rearrange my collection so that it has a special place to "live in".

Oh and yes, I have always said, Ali needs to get some kind of "commission" as her photos have definitely pushed me over the edge whenever I was considering a piece. I am sure many sales have been made because of those photos!{#emotions_dlg.thumbup}

Re: Any other collectors finding it...

Thanks so much for the great ideas Gioiella and dep! You don't even want to know how I store my jewelry now... practical, maybe, but oh so hideous (think giant stackable sterilite containers). And I can't see a thing! {#emotions_dlg.blink}

Too funny juggie... I hear ya! And I LOVE yo pics of all those pretties in the sunlight! The scenery (and model) makes them even better! Thanks t--s! Kiss

glmama - Aren't you a doll to drop by with such a sweet thing to say! Be sure to pop back in and post with us again! Smile

zzzz2z - Awww thanks for saying so!! You wanna talk blinding though... you should have seen my AmEx statement last month. {#emotions_dlg.scared} And we have another round of shows coming up at the end of this month. Eeek! I'm equal parts thrilled and a-scarrrrred! We're all terrible enablers 'round these parts!

Re: Any other collectors finding it...

Hi CL! Oh I knew you'd be able to relate! I like your idea about organizing by color. I've heard some people say they organize their closets that way too. Hey whatever works! Right now I have my CP separated by item... enhancers and pendants in one "bin," rings in another, beads in this one, statement necklaces here, cuffs and bracelets over there, etc. lol It's still difficult to locate pieces sometimes, but it'll have to do for now. The last time I re-organized, it was a major undertaking thanks to my crazy OCD brain. {#emotions_dlg.glare}

pup - You kill me woman!! {#emotions_dlg.lol} I would love to tell you that I am ashamed of my enabling ways, but 'twould be an untruth. Hey CONGRATS on YOUR new pretties too!! You didn't do so bad yourself there pup! {#emotions_dlg.w00t} Hmmm now to answer your question... The MOP was the first cuff I ordered (thought it would be the most versatile) and then I went back for the other 2. The enhancers and rings came later (I'd sworn them off too so I'm thinking you may eventually cave!). I truly do love all 3 of them, as each one seems to have a personality all its own on the wrist. But if pressed, I would say the lapis jussssst edges out the others for my fave. That vivid cobalt ultramarine color! LOVE. But the MOP is so cool with all of those colors shimmering away... it's a beauty fo sho. And the turq is a great shade of bright blue-green... always a fave! Thanks for the great post!!!

Re: Any other collectors finding it...

Hi beach! So nice to "see" you!! Oh yeah, Lori Greiner needs to get on that "invention" stat! We need shadow box/framed/wall hanging/display cases for our jewels. {#emotions_dlg.thumbup} They deserve to be on display 24-7! As you said, these pieces are works of wearable art. But you can't wear them all at once (sadly). And I hate having to tuck them away where they can't be admired. Anyway! Canyon Road is such a great collection... not surprised it's a fave of yours!

Oh Cel - I swear sometimes we share a brain! I do the same exact thing! Whenever I get a new piece, I display it on my nightstand for a few days (or until the next piece arrives!). I gaze at it while dressing or just strollin on by. Love it! Thanks for the sweetness as usual sista! xo

Loved everyone's posts! Thank you for all of the smiles and chuckles! {#emotions_dlg.wub}

Well, how much did that all cost? Probably as much as any work of art.

Re: Any other collectors finding it...

Several years ago, Joan Rivers sold a set of gorgeous butterfly pins in a shadow box that makes a perfect display piece. I'm looking for a shadow box for Carolyn's enhances. I want mine on display all the time, but protected from too much tarnish risk. Have any of you designed something like this? I consider my enhancers each to be a miniature work of art.

Re: Any other collectors finding it...

Hi violann - Oh absolutely... I'd love to be able to strike a balance between displaying them and protecting them from tarnish. That's part of the reason why I like to take photos of my pieces... even when they're put away, I can admire them. {#emotions_dlg.biggrin} And I never ever tire of it! Anyway, great idea! I'd love to see CPJ design something like that. Have a nice weekend!

Ennui...not nice, bad manners, not very Sista-ly! Just plain rude.
