I have several ankle bracelets and I still wear them. My favorite is an Imperial Gold mirror bar link. I also have a Byzantine, a rope, and a heart charm ankle bracelet in yellow gold and a box link in white gold.

I haven't been out much this Summer because of the heat and my fear of covid. But when I do get out and about I almost always put on one of my ankle bracelets. I love them and think they look so pretty on women. My favorite is a heavy 14 kt byzantine I bought from Shophq many years ago when people could afford gold. I also have 3 smallet gold ones that I bought a very long time ago. These days you ight be able to get a gold anklet about the size of dental floss for hundreds. That's a shame because a lot more women would wear them if they were affordable. Even sterling ones can be expensive.

Neither have I.  I have one gold one, but rarely wear it anymore.  I remember wearing it at vacation on the beach, but that's it.  So it sits in my jewelry box. I used to wear it with sandals and invisible socks in sneakers. The plastic ones are still worn by some pre-teen girls.

My mother had two ways of telling girls with loose morals, ankle bracelets and pierced ears.  I got my ears pierced once I was out of the house, but never did get an ankle bracelet.  She was OK with the ear piercing by then, though.
