An artist or craftsman sells his soul when he sells his company. Robert's steep slide toward obscurity started with the Warhol pieces but it was brass that was the coup de grace. Too many people have skin reactions that cause it to tarnish in a matter of hours, never to be returned to it's original shine. There was also a manufacturer that did things on the cheap, like not soldering jump rings. I doubt we ever see him again.
