Does anyone still buy their jewelry?
I remember the line being pretty popular a few years ago.
I received an email announcing the 2022 Snowflake Charm Bangle. I love snowflake jewelry and I've been collecting the Snowflake bangles every year since 2016.
I was recently in my favorite local jewelry store. It's a rather small store, but they always had a HUGE area devoted to the Alex & Ani line. Now they only have a few selections. I asked what happened and was told that the line was no longer selling.

My experience was that the bangles quickly tarnished and discolored badly. No amount of cleaning could restore them. Glad I only bought two of them.

@lmt - I still have mine and I still wear them! The store near us closed, and stores that carried the line went out.
I also got the email, and it's tempting! I have the first Black Friday snowflake they did. It was similar to the regular snowflake, but has a surrounding sparkly band. It's dated; I think all of the snowflakes are.
This is another line DD got me into! She was in high school, and gave me the "mom" bangle.
I haven't had any lose their color at all, but I do clean them with the cloths meant for them. ![]()

I think this brand has had it's heyday. It actually started in my state of RI and while I believe it still exists I don't know if she (the creator) is still involved or not. She also owns a vineyard here and one of the Newport mansions which has been undergoing major renovations the past couple of years. I haven't followed her situation closely but she may be having financial problems?? Anyway, it was quite a popular brand for awhile but again, it was just a trend.

Selling vintage & contemporary jewelry the bracelets were much more popular a few years ago. Now it appears there is little to no resale market.

@chrystaltree Thanks for posting the article.
I had no idea the they were having financial trouble, or that the owner had left the company.
