I just discovered Aldo Orta the day they had 3 EP's and what a talent! I wanted to find a peacock enhancer for the Honora shimmer peacock pearls (comes in 3 lengths and colors (white...sold out...., pink and peacock. I have so much white and wanted pink so ordered one necklace and loved it. I ordered the peacock pearls which I just never have gotten into and have very little Honora from QVC. I do have a lot of pearls though. I loved how shiny the silver chain was and the pearls.....not large and perfect for enhancers.

I found an alpha & omega cross which had been done in peacock and amethyst but was sold out and no waitlist.....but bought the other cross in white pearl and blue topaz because of the design. I heard the topaz is very light but I couldn't get over the beautiful design. Ennui.....I searched the forum and saw your post. I've been away from QVC and the forum ..... rarely come on or watch QVC though I will look for "practical" things occasionally.

I haven't received the cross yet, but can't wait to get it. I think his prices for the beauty, uniqueness, and quality are very good. I also fell for some earrings. If the peacock pearl cross comes back, I think I'll get it! I've pretty much given up on QVC jewelry because most is overpriced or unwearable for me. The designers who become popular raise the prices to ridiculous amounts and I remember seeing Hagit's jewelry some years ago (about 5 years ago) at TJ Maxx for so little! Now that it's popular, it's like all the other designers who become popular .... way overpriced. Aldo's pieces are new to QVC and I thought I would grab some pieces before they go way up in price. I spotted the 3 EP day with about 5 hours left and so thought I would search, not expecting to find anything. So glad I got the jewelry I did when it was much more affordable. I will treasure Aldo's pieces as much as my older Ann King pieces and RLM pieces. I still love silver and can't wear brass, and Robert's pieces mostly have some brass....few pieces that are all silver. I love finding a unique designer and I think Aldo is a real talent.

Ennui....how did you discover him before QVC? Hope all is well.....you're still posting! So many names are gone it seems.
