I hope the man I saw presenting Affinity recently isn't the current rep for Affinity!  He's so not believable.

Re: Affinity Representative?

I know, right! Why don't they just have the guy they hired to represent the gems rep. Affinity.

Re: Affinity Representative?

Jeff Mosley is a GIA in training.  He is Erin's husband.  She is the Diamonique rep.

Re: Affinity Representative?

Personally, I don't think any of them are as good as the guy they retired (or whatever happened to him).

I definitely didn't like the guy who was on there recently (I only saw him for one day).  He was shaved head and I thought was talking like he didn't know what he was talking about.

I don't like diamonds (think they are boring) but I watched some of the show.  It doesn't impress me what degrees they have, if I don't want to watch the show, they could have previously worked at McDonalds for all I care.

Re: Affinity Representative?

I generally like Affinity diamonds, and I do watch the shows.  I'm not sure I am talking about the same rep as everyone else, but the other day the guy with the very, very  hairy knuckles trying on womens rings was a real turn off!

Re: Affinity Representative?

Erin's husband Jeff does not have a shaved head. His hair is dark, cut short & neat, pudgy kind of face, dapper dresser, wears glasses. Don't know why they even need Erin or Jeff there with the host/hostess, they're perfectly capable of doing the jewelry/diamonique shows by themselves but hey QVC does a lot of things these days I don't understand (which is why I don't watch a lot anymore)  but nobody from there called and asked me for my opinion.

Re: Affinity Representative?

They don't need any of them. Just let the hosts present the merchandise. Fewer talking heads would mean less jockeying for position, talking over each other, less frantic presentations and potentially lower prices. It seems particularly pointless to have a special representative hawking QVC's own brands, most especially Diamonique. Come on, how much is there to say about fake diamonds.

Re: Affinity Representative?

I really enjoyed Peyton, but when he left, I thought that Jeff Mosely did an excellent job for Peyton.  He was soft spoken and knowledgable, and, like Peyton, let the hosts basically do their thing. He stepped in when asked, but didn't try to steal the show.

This new man is just talking, talking, talking.  I really don't care for him at all. I can't tell if he is training to be a host, or if he is the Affinity representative.

Yes....I nearly fainted! I vented by starting a thread on it....WHY would a man with such hairy hands put on ladies diamond rings to model for customers???  Insane....why did they get rid of Peyton??
