CL - thanks for telling me about Turtle Bay . . it sounds so nice! Perfect for talking a nice walk/hike - I give you credit for walking 4 miles a day!

Beachy - I used to see turtles in the middle of the road all the time by us, and of course, would have to pull over and move them lol. We used to have a lot more frogs too, although we have lots of peepers and tree frogs. We have a spring-fed creek, but maybe there just hasn't been as much water for them . . not sure.

Azcowgirl - thanks for the empathy, but you have the BEST news of ALL!! WOOOHOOOO and WHOOPDEDOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! WHAT ARE YOU BUYING?!?!?!?

Curious - congrats on your cool TSV . . glad it fits properly! Wish I could get that one, but I have way too many cuffs as it is.{#emotions_dlg.blushing}

AZCOW - can't believe you won - what a great prize - now you can buy jewelry without guilt -LOL- congrats!!

I got my coral and tq. ""treasures"" cuff today - in small and it is another perfect fit - i love that it is on the small size because I have found I love my smaller cuffs for layering so much better than the big giant ones. I also received my Kenneth Johnson turtle pieces from her website - they are wonderful too! Can't go wrong with any of the Native American pieces that's for sure!!

Congrats to all you other ""lovely"" sisters on your new pieces also - I know you will enjoy them!!

Good morning ladies.

Azcowgirl, congrats on your unexpected good fortune, enjoy spending it.

CL, so glad you are happy with your new cuff, I love it too so nice for the hot muggy summer months. The vibrant colors are wonderful, my favorite. Enjoy wearing yours. I too have pieces from KJ and love them all.

Jugg love the pictures of the turtles, thank you.

Keep an eye out for price reductions ... call CS for adjustments if necessary. The Kenneth Johnson earrings, J284396, dropped almost $10 from last week.

We'll see Stoney - at least your package had tracking. I think it's suspicious that my tracking doesn't work . . even called the P.O. and it didn't work for them. Glad you finally got yours!

So happy that pretty cuff worked for you Pistolino . . so different and unique. I do love rhodonite but I'm picky with that stone - how is your stone?

The rhodonite on mine is actually the cleanest one I have now---it's that perfect pink, no little spots of black or white in it. It looks like a raspberry smoothie.

Jug---I love that pic, I love turtles and spending lunch watching them sunbathe sounds like the perfect lunch hour.

Oh dear . . I don't quite have it down yet! I can't even get back in there to try and fix it ha ha ha!

Good morning, JUG - just had to bring this picture back. It's such an Aaawwwhhh moment. That,s exactly what we saw on the lake last Friday. Turtles all lined up on a log. I had never seen this before - only the usual ones in the road that are in need of rescue. Your picture makes me giggle! Thank you!

Those turtles look exactly like the ones in a small lake near my previous home. Loved seeing the big ones and the little ones all piled up sunning themselves.

By the way, if you rescue a turtle crossing a road, first, be careful of traffic. And second, put the turtle on the side in the direction he was heading and not back to the nearest side or he'll just head right back out on the road. Some biologists I used work with told me this. Determined little things...the turtles, I mean, not the biologists...but then the biologists were determined, too, in their commitment to the environment. Great group of guys and gals. Smile

Thank you, Qulia...I didn't know that part. {#emotions_dlg.biggrin} But I know all about impatient drivers that can't wait a few seconds and will go around you and put everyone at risk. (I can't use the choice words that I have for people like that on this board.)

BTW: I received my gardenia bead necklace. Very nice indeed! Now I am searching for "affordable" blue turq beads, lol. (I have the nugget toggle one.)

Azcowgirl, just read about your "win!!!!!". So when is the party? You wouldn't want to spend it all on jewelry, now would you? {#emotions_dlg.w00t}{#emotions_dlg.thumbup1} Congratulations!

Haca, I love that gardenia necklace, too! I like that the beads are mixed sizes and that it's not graduated. This means I can wear it long or short/doubled with the pendant. I'll be looking for earrings now. Am considering the petite dangles on Carolyn's website.
