I met Kenneth Johnson yesterday! I live in Santa Fe, and my husband and I were at the Plaza browsing/shopping. We went in to a high end jewelry store, and there he was--repping his studio line. Ladies, he is incredibly nice and, if possible, even MORE handsome in person! He was just lovely and friendly, and his jewelry was amazing. I tried on a gorgeous bracelet that was handmade and $1800--YIKES! I told him he needed to bring a version to the Q--LOL! He even admired my Judith Ripka bracelet and gave me a little backstage scoop. What fun!

@KimThib - you live in a beautiful town - love Santa Fe - I ate at a community diner there and just had such fun meeting everyone - it's so lovely there! You're blessed!

I wish! But I told Santa it was just too expensive! BUT, maybe Santa could put it on layaway LOL!

Great idea! Even Santa loves lay away! 😃 I did that last summer with a bracelet and ring set, and before Long, it was mine 😃 have a Merry Christmas !

Speaking of Southwest gals, boy did I see one at the grocery store today. An older woman about 70, looked normal enough but she wore a large 10gal cowboy hat, Western shirt, looked like baggy jeans stuffed into Ariat Fat baby boots. On said boots she was wearing SPURS, first time I've ever seen that. I could hardly keep a straight face and wanted so badly to ask her where she tied her horse. Not a drop of turquoise.
I'd seriously hurt myself if I tried those spurs.

I LOVE that description, Kachina! I wish I could have seen her. You see EVERYTHING here in Santa Fe--that's one of the things I enjoy about living here--especially during Indian Market--the jewelry is out in force--LOL!
