They are most certainly oval. Round earrings would have a single measurement of only diameter. These earrings  show two measurements in the descriptions of each size in the set. "Hoop" earrings with length and width sizes are certainly oval, not round. Just looking I saw them as oval. Reading the description information thoroughly confirms they are oval.

I thought it unlikely that someone owned them would see this, but you never know.

My ears are rather flat to my head, so round hoops stick out sideways, and can look a little strange.  Oval earrings are much more normal looking, and are more flattering on me, IMO.  The reason I even asked about these are that QVC is usually very specific about the shape of a hoop earring.  Oval earrings are ALWAYS described as oval.  So, this style, I questioned.

Have to ask .... do you like them a lot?   How many stars do you give them?

They are 2 1/2 by 1 1/2 so they have to be oval.

The hoops appear to be oval to me. Unless listed in the description, CS usually doesn't know additional info.
