Charriol is not the same as Alcor. According to their website: Charriol is a global prestige brand of luxury timepieces, fine jewellery and accessories including fragrance, sunglasses and leather goods based in Geneva, Switzerland. Charriol designs and crafts a broad range of products, designed to nurture the whole brand and facilitate access to the Maison by a wide customer base. Charriol is and remains a family-run business. Bringing fresh ideas and artistic inspirations to the executive team, comprising founder Philippe’s daughter and son, are determined to lead the luxury brand to greater success.
I purchased two bracelets in Mexico years ago and one at Bloomingdale's. Alcor is much more expensive.

A much better idea than this overpriced line is to take some Steel By Design pieces, sprinkle some diamonique on them and sell a ring for $35 not $355.

Agree; I'm wearing a Charriol bracelet as we speak. I didn't watch the Alor show, so I didn't realize it used to be Charriol.
I love cable jewelry which is almost always stainless steel.

@faeriemoon As stated in another post, Alor is not Charriol. There are many designers who use the cable design.
David Yurman’s cable pieces are silver, gold, with or w/o diamonds and/or gems. None is stainless steel.

@Carol Diane I also have a few Charriol pieces. None of them are stainless steel. Several of my rings do have that cable design with diamonds, but are white gold.
I think Alor tried to bring the “look” to QVC and cut the price by using steel, but once you add diamonds....prices are still high.
Interested to know if anything sold and if there’ll be a return show.
@Shanus The large, wide cuff went on WAITLIST status for both color combos.

I have to like the design and see some precieved value in order to buy jewelry. I don't see any value above a hundred dollars for some of these items and would never buy this line.

There isn't any value in stainless steel as jewelry for woman. Better value in pots and pans. So it's better then the value of Diamonique Which isn't saying much. Stainless steel on men's watches sell for some money, but other then that....zilch value. Terrible the way teeny tiny diamond chips drive up the cost of anything. Even gems without diamonds are $400.00 to $600.00 cheaper then with those diaomond "war bonnets"

I didn't catch the show. But there's no way I would pay that much for stainless steel anyway. I do wish the price of gold would come down. Like many of you ladies, I miss gold so much. I'm kind of getting tired of seeing silver, gold over silver, bronze, and now expensive stainless
I've been wanting to ask this question and maybe I should have asked it in another post but I'll ask it here. Have all of you noticed that QVC is selling mainly clothes and HSN is selling mainly electronics? It's getting more and more rare to see jewelry shows. I have to wonder if the shopping channels are going to eventually stop selling jewelry. We want more jewelry and we want good prices. I would love to see a lot more gold at better prices. Sorry for the long post. I'm a huge jewelry lover and just really miss the old days when they had lots of gold shows and things were affordable.
I'm going to take a look at this new line. I can't imagine it lasting long if the prices are sky high.

I remember seeing some Steel by Design pieces that were over $100 and thinking that was ridiculous. I had to look several times to be sure I was really seeing the prices for these pieces. I have some cable pieces like they're showing by SBD, and I really like them. AND they were in the $30 ranges.
