@Shanus  Because steel is so hard, it's not cut for jewelry, it's cast metal.  In order to do that, it has to be heated to a much higher temperature that other metals in order for it to liquidate.  It does require special equipment, but as I mentioned, Shop LC has managed to do it in their own facilty at a very reasonable cost to us!

@2blonde  If steel is in sheet form, yes it has to be heated to high temp to soften (called annealing) the metal to be able to cut it. Wire or cable steel like ALOR can be done w/ the highest temp of the torch I use for my silver jewelry.

ALOR cuff bracelet is the tsv on Q2 and the price is still $95…still no deal, even on easy pay. The same bracelet in Steel By Design would have been $50 or less. BTW, ALOR is exclusive (some designs) until June 1.

Sad that Steel by Design has been discontinued. I have some stretch bracelets that I get more compliments on then some of the more expensive jewelry I own and they were around $30 for a set of three! The Q2 Big Deal is promoted to fit a large size wrist, have to say I'm skeptical about that. The carnation color is already on waitlist so someone is buying.
