Is the Allstate insurance, which is an extra purchase, for jewelry a good idea?  When I clicked on it to get more information it said no longer available.  Does it replace item if lost? Thanks in advance.

That would be a great question for your insurance agent.

We have State Farm so can't help you there and all "scheduled" i.e. add ons to your policy differ.

Your homeowner's ins should cover "some" jewelry....unless you own a really big rock, or a gold Rolex

@Desertdi.  I have jewelry coverage on my homeowners insurance but increased it to cover jewelry and watches.  There are different levels of coverage.

The op is asking about the insurance you can buy through QVC.  They offer it for electronics & jewelry.  @usffan It is still there and when I click on one of the plans it explains what is covered.  There is also a video you can watch as well. I have never purchased it but it's there is anyone wants extra protection.

What Does Allstate Cover?

Your item is covered for mechanical and electrical failures during normal use.

Plans cover 100% parts & labor, meaning no deductibles or hidden fees.

For select items, you can also add coverage to protect it from life’s accidents like drops and spills.

Intentional damage, loss, and theft are not covered.

I read a review once that thanked QVC for the Allstate Ins on her piece of broken jewelry.


She took it to a jeweler and they repaired it at NO Charge.




I’ve never added it to my cart to know, if in fact it’s worth it though. 🤷🏻‍♀️

HSN offers allstate too,   I clicked on the ADD button one time by mistake when putting a jewelry item in my cart.

I had to go round and round with the CSR to cancel it off my order, I had to get a manager on the phone. They still pushed back i think the item was the last one so did not want to cancel the order.
