what color drapes would you buy?

This is my couch. The drapes I have now really need to go. House is logged so I really don't want brown drapes. I have 3 sets of double windows to cover. I need them lined because the summer sun is terrible. Problem is I can't decide on a color. I've been thinking on this for so long, my thinker is hurting me. My first thought was a sage green, but the couch has a lot of gold in it, picture may not show that, and I hate a green/gold combo, but a soft sage wouldn't really shout "GREEN". I have a hunter green rug in my dining room which ties into the living room and has one of those 3 double windows, so I think the sage green would work there also, since the rug has sage colors in it. Actually, the rug is getting old and needs to be replaced, so it shouldn't even be a consideration. I'm just afraid of the sage with the couch. Seriously, I love green and I love yellows, but just don't put them together. I need a home decorator - anyone have any free advice???
