Since the noise isn't that loud, yes I could live with that.  Good choice to keep what you have.

 

As far as Portable dishwashers, I don't think there is much of a market at all for them.  Homes are built or remodeled to configure the dishwasher appropriately in the Kitchen.  I'm actually surprise anyone actually does make them at all.
