I tried MY PILLOW and was not impressed. Out of desperation, a few months later, I gave it another go and now I won’t sleep on anything else. My morning neck pain is completely gone! For me there was a bit of a learning curve.

I like a cocktail of two feather pillows atop a thin styrofoam one.

Good luck finding the holy grail, @mollymaggie.

I second fthunt's suggestion. I bought the two My Pillows TSV. They were too thick for me, but I opened them up, took out several handfuls of stuffing (what a mess with bits of foam everywhere, but worth it,) then sewed them up. With some stuffing removed they were perfectly sized for my smaller frame and much more comfortable. I used the leftover stuffing to make a small travel sized pillow for the couch, I just cut and sewed up an old t-shirt for the foam stuffing cover and put a nicer pillowcase tucked in like an envelope over that, but I could have bought a travel sized pillow protector for the cover instead of sewing it myself. I'm pretty cheap. Smiley Very Happy

I haven't used any pillow except the Tony Little microbead pillows from HSN for years.  They have them on sale a couple times a year.  There are other similar pillows but his are bigger and fuller.  Very much like sleeping on a down pillow but they dont crush or flatten.  Seems like they'd last forever.  Once you settle your head and neck to suit yourself, they hold that shape all night.

I have three of them and they seem to have gotten too firm since washing them. I assume maybe the covers shrank? I am glad I read your posting and I will try taking out some stuffing before spending money to find the right pilllows. Tired of waking up with neck and shoulder pain. I have a memory foam pillow which is supposed to be cooling but makes me sweat for some reason. I am changing pillows all night long and need a solution!
