I am loving my JCPENNY Memory Form Pillow. It is on sale now for under $20. You can try and see if you like it.

They make sleeping pillows like giant blown up balloons - your head is 6 inches above your shoulders. I tried many too and suffered constant shoulder/neck pain for months. I finally opened pillow up - enough to get hand through and pulled and pulled half the stuffing out & in the trash. Reduced filling allows you to customize your sleeping position. Best thing I ever did - stop buying more - make what you have softer. Good Luck

I use a down pillow because of a bad neck and the last one I got (which I love) was from JC Penney. It wasn't cheap but it's been well worth it. My physical therapist advised me that down was best for my problems.

@mollymaggie, I have a Casper pillow and it is the best one that I have ever had. I purchased it directly from the company, but QVC carries the Casper mattress so they may also have their pillows in stock. If you go through the company, they should have a first-time buyer discount.

I like the Sealy Alternative Down pillows
You can find them anywhere, I just saw some at T J Maxx

I love my Joy Mangano pillows and have been using them for quite some time now. They work really well for me. I'd consider new ones, but reviews seem to indicate that the newer ones are not at good as the older version (which happens in so many cases!).

You name it I've tried it. LOL!!!
So far out of all the pillows I have tried latex is the only one I like.
They have solid or shredded, natural or synthetic. Synthetic are made from petrochemicals.
I have a solid natural latex pillow. Natural latex is resistant to mold, dust mites & is hypoallergenic.
Natural will cost more then the synthetic.
I'm a side sleeper & latex is pretty much they only pillow I have found that supports my head/neck so I don't wake up with neck pain.

I love my down pillow from Cuddledown. I've used down pillows for about 15 years. Before then I tried Memory Foam, down alternative and just regular pillows. Down seems to work best for me.
