We just got home to Florida and it seems we are infested with tiny little bugs we have been told are called lake knats. Do any of you southern ladies have any experience with these nuisances? We have a service from massey exterminating so we called them and had them sprayed a few weeks ago but they are still here. ( our condo watch man had called to tell us they needed sprayed). Today massey was here for termite inspection and he said he wouldd report that we are still having this problem.The screen on our lanai is just covered with them and all around the doors and windows as well.Once the weather turns we will want to open the windows but won't be able unless we get rid of these knats.I am talking thousands - maybe tens of thousands of them.And, of course, they are causing there to be a lot of lizards as they are a food source.That would be ok but those lizards tend to run into the house. One of the joys of living in the tropics.
