fireproof deck rug???

We have a wooden deck and we have a small portable fire pit on one area of it. Is there such a thing as a fireproof deck rug that we could put under it? Or any other suggestion, other than moving it off to the driveway or yard? I just love it where it is, but I also worry, so thought I would ask here for something I may have overlooked.
