For quality and price you can't beat the Charisma line at Costco. I haven't tried Walmart but I would if I needed towels.

@froggy Over time I switched out all of our towels for the Costco Charismas. They are thick, absorbant, non-shedding, etc. I like the design on the Catherine Zeta-Jones towels I saw on tv this morning, but I know the quality of the Costco towels.

I bought some Better Homes and Gardens towels about a year or so ago at Walmart, and hands down, the best towels I have seen and used and purchased for decades.
I went through scores of brands, buying, bringing them home, washing, and dealing with picking and pulling and shedding and linting until I thought I would scream.
I had watched these BHG towels at Walmart for months, loved the carved sculpted look of them, and when they started to clearance them, bought some. Couldn't believe I found towels that were made and performed like good towels from decades ago. I went back and bought a ton of them in four different colors for both my baths.
I love nice quality and pretty towels, but 90% of those made today are neither, especially after washing.
These are the ones I got at Walmart, but not made in USA. Super quality though. They originally came in about 8 colors and I think I got at least four colors.
The USA made brand I've seen at Walmart is called Made Here. I've wanted to try them, but they are a bit more pricey than many others, and that would be ok for made here, as long as the quality is good. I keep thinking I will try just one, and see how they hold up. Without trying them, but just by the look and feel, I expect they are going to pull and pick very easily, like most everything I've tried from here. If I can find them on sale/clearance, I will give them a try though. I believe they are made by 1888 Mills, and there is a FB page under that name that shows more of their products.
QVC should feature these, as we are always looking for them to bring us made in USA products.

The Charisma bath sheets at Costco are truly bath sheets. They are quite large.
I pulled one out and wrapped it around me to check.
Great price, too.

They have both regular towels and bath sheets, but the regular towels are oversized.
