We just finished changing beds around.... putting them in different rooms. Besides the hard work involved, I was grateful for the ability to unzip my bed ruffle to wash and iron it.

QVC used to sell these zip around bed ruffles and I bought one, intending to buy one for every bed. That didn't happen and I haven't been able to find them since. Now they have something that "presses" into place with some kind of elastic (that corrodes after time). I don't want that, it's inferior to these. These are GREAT~! If QVC is ever able to bring them back I'll be all over them! Anyone remember them or know anywhere to buy them?

I just moved & came across the one I bought several years ago & forgot about, so I'm using it now. I guess you could just try a Google search. If you know anyone who's handy with a sewing machine, maybe you could get them to make one for you. I do some sewing, but hate doing ruffles. Good luck!

Thanks... yes, I just googled it and it's no where to be found. Sold out on Amazon and I can't tell how old the link is. I'm glad to hear you have yours! They are really a better idea and I'm floored they aren't around anymore. There's one on eBay but it's for a twin sized bed. I think I just missed out on them... {#emotions_dlg.crying}

When we bought our new bedroom set I was certain one thing I wanted was a bed that doesn't require a bed ruffle. I like the look better and I always hated dealing with that thing.In our guest room I have a bedspread so I don't need one there either.

I suspect there's a very good reason why they aren't around any more. When I took mine out of the package to wash before putting on the bed, I read the care instructions which specifically stated to air dry & not put in the dryer. So I did, which left the ruffle a bit wrinkled, so now I have to go around it with a steamer (no way I'm ironing that thing). The base seems to be some kind of plastic-y type material, so I wonder if it falls apart easily or something.

Just a thought-several years ago I saw an idea in the Martha Stewart magazine to use a king-size flat sheet as a kind of bedskirt.
