I will check out the Kringle Candles.

I am on the Yankee Candle Tester Forum. They send surveys out every couple of months with sample scent ideas, label ideas, seasonal accessories pictures to rate and give feedback on.

The first survey they sent me a large jar candle in a new scent for a new line they were testing. They also sent me a nice candle snuffer.

I get gift cards ($25) for participating in the survey, which is nice. I got about $100 last year.

I used to love yankee and that was the only thing I would buy. The scent was strong...then I tried a couple of Kohl's Candles they sell ..and they were even better. Since then I have found nice smelling ones better then Yankee..at Bath and Body Works..too.

The ones at Kohl's are really inexpensive. I don't even buy many Yankee any longer. I may pick up a couple tarts at the Outlets..or a few during their Semi Annual Sale that is going on now and again in June/July..

Yankee is always sending me $10 off $25 coupons..trying to ""lure"" me ...lol..

I still like them, but find many of their scents aren't as strong as they used to be.

Has anyone tried the new Girl Scout Cookie candles? Do they have a good throw? They smell really good on cold sniff. The wax is the soft wax and not the normal paraffin that they normally have in the large jars. I have been looking for a review of them on You Tube but none so far. Thanks

They sent me an invitation a couple of years ago. I had to fill out a very long questionnaire about lifestyle stuff and then had to be accepted.

They put you in groups based on scents. I am in the clean group as I don't do food scents.

I think they are PLENTY strong. YC is my favorite brand of candle, but I do have a hard time because so many of them are way too strong for me. My favorites are Cinnamon Stick and Pumpkin Pie, with my all time favorite being Fruit Salad which I believe is now discontinued. I have Cinnamon Stick in my downstairs bathroom on a shelf, and when you walk in the room you immediately smell the candle and it has not been lit in about a week.

I do remember when it stated on the label about the strength of the candle. When I am in the YC store I usually ask the people working there about the different strengths. One time I bought Maple Pancakes and the woman warned me it was strong but I did not listen because it smelled so yummy. I got home, lit the candle, and within an hour I was gagging. Needless to say I returned it in exchange for another scent. I love that they will let you exchange if you don't like it because they are too expensive to waste money on.
