I use diffusers year round, and especially when the heat goes on for added moisture. Love a scented home. I just discovered the Yankee Diffuser Blends. They're kinda pricey but the quality is there. The packaging has a scratch circle so you can smell the different choices. Anyway, just thought I'd put it out there for anyone else that hasn't experienced them.

I've never tried any mist diffusers, but use the Yankee Reed diffusers and love those scents.
I've given up burning candles because, even when they appeared to burn "clean" they left residue on my walls.
I'll check out their other diffusers!

I love the diffusers bc they have an automatic shutoff too. No worries. I purchased mine at Marshall's, but TJ Maxx and probably Home Goods still offers them. Walmart and other grocery/dry good retailers such as Meijer stores carry them. In fact that's where I came across the Yankee Candle blended essential oils.
They're great. Fill the reservoir with water (will have the amt of water needed) then add drops of your essential oils (depending on quality of oils used - not all are the same, there's a lot of inferior essential oils out there). Usually start out with 4-5 drops of quality oils will do the trick. Place cover back on and enjoy. The diffusers I own have ability to run constant or intermittent poofs - I always run the intermittent setting. Plenty of scent in the air.

Love the Scentsy-type scent warmers too! Use and enjoy plenty of those too, (but no automatic shut-off)...
