Re: Would you prefer this or is it too cold, not inviting?

I hope all the black blobs actually show something personally meaningful to those who use the room.  As decor alone, I don't like them.

Too fussy for me.  All I see is dusting everything.

Looks like it was furnished by leftovers from grandma's attic.  I don't care for the gray walls or anything else.  Nothing coordinates with anything.  Hodge poge.

It’s not my style, but I think it flows beautiful.

I like the trunk it adds an interesting texture to an otherwise hard look.

A mess.  Every surface has something--too much clutter.  And what is that chandelier?  Looks medieval.

I think blue is a color that can be hard to get right and I think this room proves that point.

Looks like an example of using your existing furniture .

Cannot appreciate the wall hangings as they are very small . Maybe they are something personal to the home owner or  a special collection . Don't care for the  picture on the drapes. I do not like that type of cloth floor covering as it gaps and  is a  safety danger for tripping people.

Color scheme is okay  for those wanting to add some  purple and lavender hues.

It looks stiff and uncomfortable to me.

Not inviting for me.  To much white and anticeptic.  Doesn't look homey or lived in to me at all.  Sorry.
