Would this return work??

I ordered a cute electric heater about 6 weeks ago and it has stopped working completely. More than 30 days have passed, but I would just want a replacement anyway (rather than a refund). Would it work to order another one and when it arrives send this one back in the box saying it doesn't work and request a refund for it?
