Re: Would You Say a Mix of Traditional/Colonial.....

@jubilant  I like the room and I really like wing chairs, but I would do a different pattern on them.

I am not a big fan of all neutral colors in a room, but Ilike this one.

It reminds me of our homes here in PA.  Many people have that style..colonial.

To me, it's a nicely done electic traditional mix with some elements with a colonial vibe. I find it quite pleaing, but too neutral and I don't care for the fabric covering the two chairs.

I think it's all colonial...1700-1780, when different styles appeared, some casual, some formal; although, some might not think formal styles are colonial.

I think traditional applies to formal styles, Queen Anne, Chippendale, Federal, and Sheraton, up to and including Victorian.  Wing chairs can be formal; however, IMO, the fabric and legs on those in this room make them more casual.

Early American before 1700.

I like it, but not the colors.

Traditional Southern Charm.  I can see this in Charleston SC.  I like it. Very warm and inviting.

I like it.  I would change out the picture over the fireplace and the table between the chairs....it looks too high to be a side table.

To me, it seems pretty much Colonial.  It's really not my tastes, but it's very well done and very attractive.  Love the nice, long windows and the fireplace.

I like the mix too, @jubilant .  It's artful, yet it looks like "real" people live there--  a very nice energy to the room.

I like it..I might change the fabric on the chairs but that all I would change.

It's Traditional with a Colonial touch to me.
