 I like this room a lot.

It could use a few standing lights, but aside from this, very nice.

Way too many chairs--unless this is a fancy public library. There should be more books.

I agree!  The paneling is not overwhelming or dark.  It is a very light and cheery space.  Many colors and patterns but they all seem to work.  And old style and quite welcoming and not stuffy.

I like it.....one room done in wood is fine but that's my limit. 

I would just change the color of the sofa to dark gray.

I love this room, so warm and inviting.  I would change the sofa color and the patterned chairs and rug.  One or the other.

I don't care for that particular furniture in that particular room.  Incongruous, IMO.

@grandma r   I feel the same way...don't care for the decor . I also think I would like it better if all the walls weren't wood paneling but just an accent wall with the books.

I'd change out the chandelier and get rid of a couple of chairs.  I'd replace the couch with this one.  And maybe throw a crocheted afghan over the back of it!
