In addition to our house being closed on Aug 10th our construction loan is going to be closed on Aug 11th. Finally everything has come together and our house will finally get started.

@ccassaday.   Good for you.  I know you are relieved.  Will you be building a one story home or two story?  Years ago, my cousin built a beautiful home with 4 or 5 garages that were heated.   It was quite nice.  Good luck to you and best wishes for your future home.

Yes we found a apartment. A lot nicer then the houses we were looking at and the same price. The buyer of our house is letting us stay one day after closing since the apartment isn't supposed to be ready until the 11th or 12th.

Got home Wed night from surgery. Had some pain yesterday but today am feeling a lot better.

While we were away our basement is scheduled to be dug on Aug 15th. We have a very busy week next week. Closing on our current house and on the construction loan. We have to be out of our current house by noon on the 11th. Movers will be here on the tenth. If the apartment isn't ready we will have to crash at my sisters for a day. Plus on the 12th my nephews and niece birthday party. All this while trying to recover and get rest from surgery. Get my stitches out Monday since we are closing on the house Thursday.

Congrats on your house closing and closing on the construction loan!!!  Please take care of yourself....thats a lot to deal wih moving and family activities all the while recuperating from surgery....Take Care and best  wishes for a speedy recovery!
