Do you have a whirly gig that really blows in the wind? We've had more wind this spring and I'd like to find one more great one.

The two I have gotten on the Q have held up well.  One was a TS years ago, the one with lights.  I accidently left them out in the horrible wind storm the other night and they are both still standing.  Plow and Hearth - but get a solid one, not one with thin spinners.  You can check out their website too, they may have a bigger variety.

I love whirligigs!! There is a company called "Premier Kites" and they make many animal spinners. My favorites are the birds. They are made of a durable nylon material similar to backpack material. They have so many kinds. Just google them and see. Not only animals but objects and flowers as well. Here are two of my faves....hummingbird and blue heron. They spin with minimal amount of breeze.

These are not small. They measure over two feet tall.

At camp we have one that looks like an antique bike from QVC years ago. People walk  by and comment on how cool it is.

I just bought this one today. Pro Kites USA is having a sale...10%-off. This guy is the bigger size...48-inch. The smaller one is 18-inches.

@qualitygal

I hate whirly gigs! That is what we call those seed thingies that fall off of the maple trees, and we have them coming down all over the place right now!

I much prefer 'your' whirly gigs, Much prettier! And you don't have to clean them up!
