@Oznell I agree with your assessment of room number one; and I feel the same as you regarding white walls.  Soft white would always be my preference, although truth be told, even though I love neutral walls, I prefer a deeper intensity of neutral than white.

I thought the coffee table and its display of objects was the most interesting of the bunch too.

Definitely number 1 for me.  I also do not like any of the pieces over the mantle.

@lolakimono

My choice is #3.  It's more casual, comfy & cozy looking.  Plus, the 2 horses on that unique mantel are adorable.

I don't care at all for either 1 or 2 and the plaques above the fireplaces.   Nor, the lighting fixtures.

Thanks for sharing.

#1 is my vote, not necessarily "homey" but the best style for my tastes.

#2.

I'd have to add a more color.

Re: Which is the Homiest?

I'm not crazy about any of them but if forced to choose it would be the second one.

The first picture is just ok but I definitely do not like the third picture.

I'm not fond of anything with rough wood.  It just reminds me of a place where spiders would crawl around.

 The horses  are Swedish .

Below from Google

" A Dalecarlian horse or Dala horse (/ˌdɑːləˈkɑːrliən/; Swedish: Dalahäst) is a traditional carved, painted wooden statue of a horse originating in the Swedish province of Dalarna (Dalecarlia). ... It is stoutly carved and painted bright red with details and a harness in white, green, yellow and blue. "

"The horse itself was considered as a status symbol and highly valued property in the Swedish household. These days Dala horse is a traditional gift in Sweden for any kind of life celebration including weddings and graduations. The much loved Swedish souvenir even treated as collectors' items by some."

The 3rd one is warm and inviting to me. The soft grayish blue color scheme is soothing. I also like the table it appears to have a  distressed look. I even like the way they have the table staged. It has a flow to it. It is very easy on the eye. I usually do not like stuff around, but I could live with it. I also love the big windows allowing that room to be bathed in light. Overall it appears to be a modern take on rustic.

I feel they are in reverse order of formality with the most casual #3.

I'd love to know about those horses.  Antique carousel horses were a little more decorative.
