@ccassaday, if I had a choice, I would opt for leather which I have on my king bed.  Then you don’t have to worry about dust.  If you can’t do leather, opt for the one with the least crevices for dust to collect.  LM

@ccassaday, I like the first one.  As much as I like these these types of headboards, I have pets and that would just be a constant/daily chore of vacuuming.  Enjoy your new headboard.

I am not to concerned. I have a golden retriever and pet hair is just part of it. She isn’t in my room hardly at all. Plus her fur is almost the same color.

Well the top one it is then. That was my original choice. I am going to get it at kohls. It’s a great buy with 30% off. My  sisters and I went in on a Christmas gift for my parents for Christmas. When they pay me back next week for their portion I am going to put the money back for the headboard.  I will only need a hundred dollars more to order it. So hopefully soon I will get it. Then I can get my pictures up.

I like the second one.   Clean lines, very attractive   You will have to vacuum weekly to keep the dust off.  With any headboard you choose wood, metal, etc. you will have to clean off.

I  like the bottom one.  To me it looks more modern yet can be done in a casual or formal room.
