What do you do with old pillows? I’ve got several that were put aside as new ones were bought. Some are so old they have that old foam in them. Others are down that have lost their fluff.

Donating them is out of the question. A way or place to recycle them...that’s why I’d like to find.

What have others done?

Our dogs LOVE them. They sleep on them like humans!

Put them in the recycling bin.

You can put the down pillows in the washer and dryer.  They will fluff back up.

The foam goes in the garbage.

You could call a animal shelter. I know they use old blankets and throws. Not sure about pillows.

I threw all mine away (old) and replaced with My Pillows. I have four sets of the travel size on the way. The American flag 🇺🇸 pillow cases were too cute to pass up.

I like that I can wash and dry My Pillows.

My cat is sleeping on one right now.

I always hang on to extras.

Unless they are just really too nasty, then they go in the trash.

Throw them in the trash.  I've never seen pillows on a list of recyclables.  They'd be a mess at a recycling center.  Most pillows are not washable.

I took old down pillows to the dry cleaners and they will make new pillows for you.  They clean and sanitize the feathers and put a new casing on them.

If your pillows have minimal feathers, I would open the casing up and combine 2 pillows together and have them make a new one.

The other pillows with foam need to be tossed.
