I don't know the purpose of tags... Breadcrumbs are the three little dots at the upper left... They are gray HTH

Hi Country gal,

Spoiler
The tags are basically a way to bring attention to your post by taging a person you really want to see it. The bread crumbs are at the top of the page, their purpose is to let you backtrack. Hope you find this a little helpful

Using Firefox, the breadcrumbs are at the top of the forum page, but I haven't even used them.  I just click on the forum I'm interested in to left.  I also get here by a bookmark I made on my computer which takes me directly to the Home category.  That way I can bypass all the "most popular" and blog stuff on the main page.

The breadcrumbs on this page look like this:

I'm not sure on the tags, but I decided to tag VPH, Valerie, and CIJ into one of my posts, just in case it helps the search feature work more efficiently, for anyone who is trying  to find posts on those subjects.  Maybe someone else can offer more help.

Hi Susan, So, tags are meant to bring attention to posters, not subjects?  We are all learning a little.  Thank you.

So , are you saying instead of calling them "breadcrumbs" they are actually calling them tags.

Hi country gal, I thought we tagged people so they'd see a post that you wanted them to see.  At least that's what I've been doing it for. If we tag someone on Facebook it shows up on their page. Who knows.  I don't think the Q should keep posting who is the leader in hearts or  tags no matter what they're for.  I do like to click the heart if I like a post, it's so simple to do.  Hopefully, we'll have a few more changes to this and they'll be for the better.

Tags are used to help you search for a post.  For instance, if you posted something about VPH, the tag would be VPH.  Breadcrumbs are the Forums & Blogs: Forums: Home: line in red above that will take you back to where you were.
