Thanks to all for providing info regarding Luminara. My mom had given me a few Candle Impressions that are special to me, but I purchased the Luminara glitter pillars last year and I absolutely love them. I was planning on purchasing more this year and am now smacking my head that I didn't.

However after reading DianneF's post I have to believe Luminara will likely be available through QVC again. I don't think the company would completely sever ties then announce it as temporary if that wasn't the case. Although my cynical self thinks all corporations lie all the time, the verbiage seems to indicate the companies are working towards a resolution of some sort.

I am just so totally annoyed....I have no idea why QVC wasn't upfront and honest...I just can't tolerate "sneaky" behavior. Whoever is running their PR Dept did a really poor job. All he or she accomplished was to anger a great number of customers. Since this debacle, I haven't watched the Q nor have I made a purchase. Bad, bad taste in my mouth and I'm disgusted w/ them. I'm surprised at the Q....one would think they knew better than risk losing the trust of their customers.

My guess, the issue is a price dispute.

I am having Luminara candle withdrawals! I have 10 already and now need to replace two that became casualties due to my cat but I also need a couple of window candle luminaras to complete my set. I have some bare windows that need lighting! Please, please bring them back quickly!

I've been meaning to get a Luminara for a while. Have it in my wishlist and everything.

These new Solare ones are not a good replacement. The glow is in the wrong place. You can see the flame above the top, but then they have an LED glowing halfway down the base making it look like the flame is supposed to be down in there flickering. A flameless candle can't have the flame visible and look like it's burned way down at the same time. Totally ruins the realism.

I am happy I bought 8 luminara candles with the glitter swirl during Christmas in July in different colors. I was going to be giving some as Christmas gifts but now decided I am keeping them all!!!!

Our TJMaxx got in 5 Luminara candles week before last. When I was in there Sat. 4 of them were still there. They were $28. I was shocked to see them there. I had just ordered some from the Q recently so didn't need any.

Don't understand though why it's just QVC not stocking these candles and not everyone else?

Polady, My first thought was that maybe Q sells other candles that are manufactured by the companies being sued. Maybe doing so is against some sort of agreement between Q and Luminara?
