Re: What are you melting or burning in 2023

I use my Scentsy warmers, ordering each time any new scents come out. I've found that sometimes they're not as fresh if they don't say "new" on the descriptions. I don't like fruity scents; got notification this morning about their new Valentine's scents but passed because they seem to be fruity. I "discovered" some new melts recently: Trapp and Swan Creek Candle Co. During Christmas, I've been burning Trapp's White Fir, which was a good substitute for me not having a real tree, and Swan Creek's Golden Myrhh, which reminds me of the incense that our Catholic Church burns during Christmas. Right now, I'm using Scentsy Clove & Cinnamon that will hold me until their new offerings for Springtime are offered.

Re: What are you melting or burning in 2023

Happy New Year,

I just finished burning a jar candle gifted to me called Christmas Tree. I also finished burning a small candle that had notes of sea salt, musk, amber, cardamom, and citrus. Both were very nice.

Now burning a candle called Eleven's Waffles from my book subscription box and it smells so good!

I have also been melting Scentsy's Black Forest Pine.

Really enjoyed reading this thread!

I received a candle as a Christmas gift made by a new-to-me company, Lux.  They are out of Arkansas.  The scent, White Christmas, is delicious.  I haven't burned it, but I get a whiff of the scent every time I pass by the candle.

I'm not burning or melting anything at the moment, but I've got my Bath & Body Wallflowers plugged in that I bought last week, on clearance.  They had scents that were normally $7.50 on sale for $2.99 for one day only, so I picked up several, with multiples of my favorites that are only available at Christmas, like Vanilla Bean Noel (love that one).

Right now I have a Lilac 3 wick candle on the warmer. I burned it for about 30 minutes and then I put it on the warmer. It was warm so I think I got a stronger scent. I'm all about scents in my environment.

I am finishing up Slatkin's Partridge in a Pear Tree..It is a nice scent, not overly strong, but ok... I probably would not repurchase this one though, not enough of a scent throw...My husband likes it, because he doesn't like stronger candle scents, and this one you can leave burning for 2-3 hours-no problem.......

I was at Kroger yesterday and they had all of their Tuscany brand large jar candles for $3.20 each. I didn't even know they sold candles until I saw them at the front of the store.  I bought a Lemon Sugar Cookie and a Cinnamon. I couldn't pass them up at that price. Started burning the Lemon one and it smells great, but burns super fast. I didn't realize until I opened in that they are all two-wick, not my favorite.

Re: What are you melting or burning in 2023

My husband brought over a gift bag from our neighbor containing a candle. It's a mixed berry scent that seems quite pleasant. I'm pretty sure it was a Christmas gift she received and won't use. Those kind of re-gifts are fine by me.
