It does not seem real to me.  Maybe it's legit, maybe not.

I have seen so many similar photos on FB, I personally don't see the interest...a knotty old tree with a rusty piece of junk.....

This type of thing probably does occur, however, in this case the photo looks photoshopped. For the tree to perfectly align with the exact center of the car seems unlikely and the picture looks like a photo of a tree was added to a photo of a car. The edges of the hood don't look right. The girth of the trunk does not look like it would fit in the hood space where it is in the pic.

Extremely rare to see a large piece of country property like this with one lone tree that looks to be 75+ years old.

Looks to be that this car is from the 70's. Could the tree be that big??

No! Someone is being sly as a fox. That tree is much older than the car it supposedly grew through.
