Re: What Did I Do Wrong In My Review At Amazon ?

You gave the light 2 stars because it was so wonderful you decided against using it?  Your review does not evaluate the performance of the product, which is what they want, but is based on your opinion of their customer service.

You didn't review the product.  That's why your review was not accepted.  I'm sorry you had that experience with the light fixture.

As a prime member they guarantee your satisfaction.  I always "chat" with them whenever I encounter a problem such as this (return of a $1200 stove top which did NOT fit into space).  They guarantee your return as a prime member.  Try again.

If it doesn't say "free returns", there are no free returns unless damaged.  You are responsible for reading the description and making sure you are ordering what will work for you.  You shouldn't be able to post a negative review for the item because you ordered the wrong type of light.

I disagree with you.  The stove I mentioned had a shipping charge associated with it, and Amazon refunded me my shipping charge.  Speak or chat with a customer service rep.  They really want you to be a happy customer.

OP Looks like you ordered this light without actually reading all the specs on it. I'm sure it said its size, weight, etc. DId you read others reviews? Kind-of a hasty purchase if you ask me. I'm a very observant internet shopper. I really do my homework before ordering anything. Hope you do the same next time. Woman Happy

Re: What Did I Do Wrong In My Review At Amazon ?

They refused the review because it wasn't a review of the product and how it works, it was just a statement that you sent it back because your electrician said it was too big and you decided you didn't want it. That isn't a review, that's just a decision you made about a product you never used at all.

Most if not nearly all businesses charge you to return something if there's nothing wrong with it, i.e. it's not broken. "I've decided it doesn't suit my needs" means you will pay postage for changing your mind. No seller is obligated to fully reimburse all costs in that case.

You're blackening someone's business name for no valid reason - no wonder it's not allowed. It's like someone posting a restaurant "review" on Yelp that says "I didn't like how the light fell on the table. Don't go there!"

Re: What Did I Do Wrong In My Review At Amazon ?

Anyways I am glad you returned it if it really is THAT BRIGHT as you say.  There is way too much light pollution in my opinion in this world.  If you live in a rural, dark area like me and a nearby neighbor put up a super bright light I would be bummed about it.  I like the darkness of my area, seeing the stars at night.  Sure, a little outside lighting at appropriate times is OK (not all night long though).  Just how I feel about light pollution that's all.
