Re: Welcome To the Pumpkin Patch! Post Your Finds!

Oh, thank goodness. I thought you were talking about the real ones. Leaves have started changing here two weeks ago. It was very subtle then, but now it is obvious. I'm in the deep south of Georgia and know that scientists have discussed the upcoming, in 10 to 15 years, reversal of the poles with a mild ice age. Our seasons have started moving further up in the year. It was 100+ degrees in May and June instead of July and August. Spring started in February for us. Pumpkin plantings will begin later this month, but we aren't quite ready for fall plantings yet. These fake pumpkins are way cuter and far better than the real ones! I'll just make pies with mine from the backyard garden this fall!

HL has lots of velvet pumpkins. Was at my store last week and picked up a nice bright orange one.  Going back for a purple velvet one.

@lucymo  Did you see Val's sneak peak??  Sort of disappointing for me. Don't really see anything I can't live without.  Maybe there will be some other newer items coming during the day Tuesday.

@MTH, I did see the preview and I think I'm safe as well.  There's quite a few returns from previous year(s).  I sure don't need anymore pedestals even though they are a little different from the ones I already have.  I won't be shopping, just watching. I hope we can stay strong.  :-)
