Weighted Blanket for 2 sharing the bed?

If you use a weighted blanket and share a bed with someone, do you use the same blanket? Or do you each have a blanket? or does only one of you use a weighted blanket?

Do you make your bed with the weighted blanket or just add it to your usual bedding?

I'd buy 2 separate blankets

although we don't use weighted blankets   Our issue is electric blankets

My hubby wants electric blanket   I don't use one one at all

I bought him a twin electric blanket   I go without

I would suggest two twin size blankets.

I use a weighted blanket and my husband does not.

Also at times the weighted blankets can get a bit warm too. So I would suggest getting one that you can take off the cover and wash.

If two people shared a weighted blanket, wouldn't that reduced the weight for each by 50%, eliminating the desired weight effect?

Another hypothetical that might do better in Community Chat than HOME.

Mr. Wonderful and I have had our own sheets, blankets, comforters etc. since we married nearly 34 years ago.  We choose exactly what we want with no fussing.  Making the bed is a bit more challenging but well worth it.
