I'm about 30 miles away and we're having nasty storms.  Right now, the wind is blowing the rain sideways.  We have severe thunderstorm warrning, a tornado watch and a flood watch.  Not sure how long the storms are supposed to last, but I can understand the serious weather going on here and probably in West Chester.

There was a tornado report in the Philly area. I was watching QVC and then it went to Jane and the rep from Mackenzie childs. I turned to QVC 2  and then HSN and they were all on encore programing. I turned on the weather channel and they were going on and on for good reason about the weather reports apparently in the area where QVC is based. 

It is the way it is. I worked for a company that was a catalog and during the holiday season we had a storm and since we had answering service in another part of the country the manage decided to close up where we were based. It was a snow storm and though I lived 20 minutes away it took almost two hours to get home that day.

It is good that they had programming that they could put on instead of the live.

Weather everywhere seems to have greatly intensified recently.

We have already had 3 dust storms in  the PHX area in August.   Yes, the kind that have caused property damage and power outages.

I am thinking about those in the Northwest Indiana area. Many are still without power. They are in an area that has been in the "line of fire" for the tornados and high winds and rains that have hit in the Midwest. 

I am not too far but far enough to not be in that area.
