Washing machine recommendations.

I currently have a Bosch front loader that is only three years old and has bitten the dust. I would like to go to a top loader with agitator and preferably with a lid that I can lift whenever I want. Does anyone have any suggestions on the best brand for this style. Any input will be appreciated.
