Washing Down Comforters

Has anyone had any luck washing a down comforter. I have a Pacific Coast Feather Co. (Northern Nights) comforter bought at Costco and wondered if any of you have washed one you may have. Dry cleaning is approx. $30-$35 for queen size and I just don't want to spend that much. So if you've washed yours, how was it done and what did you use???
