What is the best thing to use to hang a floral wreath on my front glass storm door?  I purchased one of those clear over the  door holders for the wreath but my storm door is having an issue trying to close ...What do you swear by that works well? Thanks !

@sarahpanda   I also have a glass storm door and always use the Magnetic Wreath Hangers for Glass.  They are VERY STRONG with a VERY Strong Magnet,  and hold a lot of weight, so no issue hanging heavy wreaths.   You can purchase them at Walmart, Amazon, or the Home Improvement stores, like Home Dept., etc.  Here is what you will be looking for.  They come in different colors too.   Dark Green for Christmas wreaths and other colors for different colors wreaths.

For our front door, I use an adhesive hook...

Valerie Parr Hill has a couple of different sets and there are several others you can find online elsewhere...

Here's an item # for one of the sets on the Q...

@sarahpanda

Go for the magnetic holders....top and bottom for the wreath.

The issues with the 3M type hooks:

     If you pull the tap wrong, it can tear off and you will have to scrape it off with a knife, or

     If the hooks are "old", they can release their hold and you'll find that wreath on the ground.  Had this happen with indoor Christmas decor....the hooks looked fine but were past their prime.

I use the 3M hooks in a hot, dry climate.  They seem to last forever.

At my request, my husband put a hook where the peep hole was.

@Kachina624 , I've used 3M hooks in a hot, dry climate, they don't last forever and they only cause aggravation to a peaceful life.

Re: WREATH HOLDER ON FRONT DOOR

I use the 3M adhesive hooks, the strongest ones they have. The adhesive lasts for me, following the instructions. I clean the glass the day before with alcohol. Those wreath hangers just don't fit on my storm door and I have to fight to close the door. I didn't know about the magnetic holders mentioned and will surely search them out now. Good luck.
