@Greeneyedlady21 , I like it.  There is a gorgeous sprawling two storey probably about three times this size in my city painted the same lavender, not a color I would have picked but it is lovely.  

Having said that, I liked @Witchywoman 's own brick two storey better.  I think it had more character.

We have a number of Victorian Painted Ladies in my hometown in NJ. They were the summer homes of the rich from NYC in the 1800's. The owners throughout time have kept them painted the original colors. I say some are very colorful!

How kind of you....I do love this one and, as I mentioned, I really wanted a "painted lady" Victorian, but DH just looked at me and said he understood the attraction, but the upkeep as we aged would be a lot.

And, of course, he works with bricks.

But, I do adore the traditional Victorians with lots of gingerbread trims.  The color combos are a real science too. 

There are places that custom combine colors for you.

Big old Victorian houses have always been my favorite.  This is a no brainer for me as far as if I like it or not,, I would move there in a blink of an eye!!!!!!!  Also I love new England so that adds to the mix!  I would love to see the interior!

They are so pretty and often nice wood inside.

BF got a fixer upper and the wiring and plumbing had to be seem to be believed.  Need deep pockets.
