Valeries wreaths getting smaller?

I love Valeries wreaths and the lushness and fullness they bring with details you just dont find in the retail stores but Ive noticed a trend lately that she is bringing largely 15-18" weeaths. I prefer 20-22" wreaths. I hope this isnt a trend of shrinking a product and keeping costs down. Frankly Id rather pay a few extra dollars and find a larger wreath.

Re: Valeries wreaths getting smaller?

I got the series of AD wreaths Valerie offered several years ago.  They are so cute and colorful and still look great.  I use one every season.  I wish she'd do it again.

Question not regarding wreaths but...I was looking at her product pages online.   I wondered...why aren't her Christmas items on clearance???  By now, most holiday items are on sale. I guess they sell anyway, but I was looking for some good prices on her holiday stuff this summer!!

I've noticed the 18 inch wreaths too.  Not sure what's up with that.

I imagine they are trying to keep the price somewhat reasonable.  Usually, Valerie will have more expensive items available that are never shown on air.

They had a lot of her stuff on Zulily a couple of days ago.  I didn't pay enough attention to tell if it was from Christmas.  Knowing QVC, I'd guess they'll just wait and recycle it for Christmas in July.  Heaven forbid they lose a buck on  it.

I think a 15" - 18" wreath fits better on my front door than those 20" and up.  Of course there are other uses for a wreath than hanging on a door.

@Reever  I only buy the smaller wreaths because I use them on a table to hold hurricanes with candles. Smiley Happy  Everything I buy seems to have shrunk in size when the economy plunged.  the first time I noticed it was when I bought a gallon of ice cream for a party, knew it looked different, then realized that it was not a gallon any longer, but the price was the same or greater, and now I see it on many items, my eyedrops for another, used to last for days, now I may have to use two a day.

@corita, if I'm not mistaken, I recall seeing quite a few items on sale or clearance during the Christmas in July programs.  I wouldn't be surprised if Valerie's leftover products from last Christmas show up on sale in this summer's CIJ.

Re: Valeries wreaths getting smaller?

I noticed that as well she has smaller wreaths. I like the larger ones. I am so glad I purchased her auto delivery season wreaths and a few other ones I have. I always have a wreath on my door.
