I love them, but the last set I purchased melted over the summer and I had to throw them out. I noticed then that a lot of reviewers had the same experience. Did anyone else purchase them? I wonder how best to protect them...it gets hot here in the summer and COLD and snowy and frozen in the winter.

Re: Valerie's WAX pumpkins...

I would think it depends on where you store them. I store most of my decor items in the attic space over our garage, but I'm careful not to put anything that could be affected by the heat up there, such as candles. I live in south Florida and it does get very hot in the attic. All

my candles are stored in a bin on the shelf in the closet in our den.

Re: Valerie's WAX pumpkins...

I always store wax items in a closet inside the house. I have heard Valerie tell us not to store them in attics, outside storage, etc. They are pretty solid but being in extreme heat for long periods of time will ruin them. One year awhile ago, I put a big box of Christmas candles in the attic by mistake, and when I got them out they were in awful shapes. I learned my lesson.

I store mine inside the house - in the basement. I've had candles melt if they are outside in the heat or in the attic.
