Valerie Snow branches

I decided to pull out some of my Winter stuff as we are getting a snow storm and my Valerie white snow branches don't work now. Brand new batteries and none of the 23 branches will light up. I can use them in an arrangement but that wasn't the intention.

I haven't had a whole lot of luck with any of Valeries things that take batteries. Either they eat up batteries or they don't work at all.

Anyone getting the new Lantern with the Luminara candle in it? I like the looks but am hesitant as my BL stuff doesn't work well either.
