I watched both shows of Valerie's just to see what she had to sell.  I ended up buying my friend one of the items.  What really made me mad was when Mary Beth did not quit talking and let Valerie talk about the items.  Mary Beth talks way too much on shows, and I try to stay away from her hosting them.

On the other hand, Rick (Rich) did the second show last night, and had Valerie talk about each item.  He did not try to do all of the talking like Mary Beth did.  I enjoyed that show listening to Valerie.

Came across this topic and read all of the posts. What concerns me is so many, like myself, are really not buying much of VPH items....not like many of us used to. Perhaps like myself, I have too much "stuff" from her past shows, a Hobby Lobby has moved into our town and I can find a lot of what she sells there, and some of it has grown old and tiresome. Nothing new and exciting coming from her line to entice me. But, if many like myself, stop buying, how much longer can they continue her shows? I do like to watch her and get ideas for using what I have, but watchers will not keep her shows afloat. I hope her fall shows can entice me with something differnt than what we can buy in stores.

At first glance, Rick & Valerie, might appear as a reprise of the "Odd Couple", but they actually work very well together.....and I enjoy their shows and the humor between them too....

Well in defense of Mary Beth she's not the only host that wont give Valerie time to make a point or give an idea, ...JT is even worse and before she left Jill B. they both tend to take over the show...
