I am looking for a light stick weight vacuum mostly for my kitchen.  I had the cutest small Bissell ($65.00) that lasted for 3 years.  It was cordless and did the job.  I love the idea of cordless but I think corded machines might last longer.  Looks like Shark has the  most options.  Any recommendations?

I have been happy with Shark's, Sams club has a few for just over 150.

Go with Shark!  I had Dyson cordless v whatever and Dyson Animal 2 not worth ******.  More money and not worth it.

I have several Dysons and have a 2 sharks-they do not compare to the Dyson units. For my kitchen I use a Dyson Omni Glide, it is perfect for bare floors. I've had it for over 3 years, it is used at least twice daily.  FYI-we have a cat rescue-13 cats, the Dysons deal with a lot of cat hair.

We have had dysons and sharks and I honestly prefer the sharks, the sharks have been plug in though and the dyson was cordless, the cordless may not have as much power as the plug ins.

@bargainsgirl

I don't know if you would be interested but Amazon sells refurbished Shark vacs for really low prices. They come with a 90-day return policy.

I am struggling with this too.  DD has a cordless Dyson which has lasted for years.  But the price!  Stood up to dogs, kids, husbands...

Finally got a $35 corded stick from Ace to test the waters.  Love the ease for tile areas.  But it is sort of a joke 🤣

Just can't decide on a cord or not going forward.  Leaning toward Shark.

@SilleeMee I have ordered them from Amazon. Even the refurbished ones look new.

@AuntG

Yes, some of them are brand new and/or are customer returns. Prices are really good, too.
