I found this really neat wrought iron 3 arm table hanger thing today at a store that I stopped in. They had hanging spheres displayed on it. They had ones with single hooks also. Not sure what the spheres are that they showed on it. I'll have to call and ask. They were about the size of VPH's smallest sphere. My questions is that the hangers that come with the spheres are too long for this piece I bought to hang them on. Does anyone have any ideas on how to shorten those hangers or what else you could use to hang them that would be shorter? If I can get it to work it's something I will use inside only using 3 small spheres.

How about fishing line. I use see through line to hang wreaths on the front door. I tacked in a small nail on the top and loop the line through the wreath and double knot it. I'm sure my wreaths are way heavier than a small sphere. The lighted one holds 3 D batteries. A spool was a couple dollars. I think I got it at Wal-Mart.

That's a good idea. I will have to see if that will work. Thanks!

This is the display stand that I purchased to attempt to hang three small VPH spheres from. I bought the one with three hangers.

Mallemo-these stands are made to hold Kitras globes which are also known as fairy balls, witch balls, and some other terms which I can't think of now. Kitras is art glass made in Canada. I bought many of these a few years ago which I was going to display all hung in a window. I never did it because I decided I didn't want to put hooks in my ceiling. I will eventually sell the Kitras on ebay, because I have a lot of money tied up in them and they are not being used. Kitras have a hook which is blown into the glass on the top of them-that way you can put clear fishing line in them and they look like they are suspended in air. I am not sure how you could hang Val's globes because they have that black base on them which is pretty unattractive, unless it is sitting on something and sort of hidden. Just my humble opinion, though.

Still working on that one if I were to use fishing line.

Yes, until yesterday I had never heard of Kitras balls. They had a ton of them at this store. I may end up taking the stand back if they look awful or I can't figure out how to use them on it.

Hi mallemo,
I can't think of a way of hanging these from that great stand since there is no loop or whatever at the top of the spheres to hang the fishing line thru. You would need something to support them on all sides like the hangers that come with them. Too bad they can't be cut down someway but can't think how that would be possible.
Hope you can figure out a way to do it so you can keep the great stand you got.
Rosehill...I am impressed, you are a wealth of information.
I learned something new today.
