VPH Lit Icy Berry and Pinecone Tree

I received the two trees I ordered and I must say, they are pretty when lit. With that said, the quality isn't there and the two cost almost $90. When I went to put the batteries in the base, I was disappointed. The tree is basically a branch stuck down in styrofoam that is shaped like a pot. There's a place cut out of the styrofoam for the battery pack. One of the trees is not centered properly making it top heavy. I love the look and would like to know if anyone has seen something similar so I can return these. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I received mine as well (purchased one) and unfortunately wasn't impressed??. I agree with your description of the tree and sent it back for the reasons you described. I haven't seen anything out there that comes close to this......

I came so close to ordering these trees. I'm glad I waited for the presentation before I made a decision. When I saw them close-up, I thought the 'icy' coating was a bit much for my taste. They really looked top heavy too! I can imagine spreading out the branches and such so it is as balanced as possible...which might be difficult for some of the trees folks might get if they get them lopsided...sad to say.

I almost ordered them as well and when I looked at the pics close up, the green on it looked rather fake. Don't know if it is in person, but it did in the pics and now I am glad after I heard people don't like them....

I'm sorry to see the bad reviews for this item. I would like to have something similar, but I truly just don't trust the VPH line anymore. There are many things that are great ideas, but quality is not consistent in her line anymore. It is just a matter of chance whether or not you get a nice piece.

I don't remember this line being like this in the past. I think Q is trying to cut costs and it is cutting quality. I find I have to order at least two of something to try to get one (or one set) of something that is worth keeping. That is just working too hard at it.

My tree is on its way back, all the reasons given plus mine had a miserable order, kind of like the KVZ bags back in the day.

I was looking forward to reading the reviews on this tree since it sold out so quickly. That is a bummer the trees aren't good quality. I am glad I didn't order them.

I havn't received mine yet, and now am worried. They were a last second purchase as they looked good during the presentation. The wreaths are beautiful.

Re: VPH Lit Icy Berry and Pinecone Tree

I got mine a couple of days ago and just love it!. Not sure why the bad reviews. It looks just like the garland but in tree form. When it lit up at night it was just magnificent, all that I expected. I got the wreath last year and love it also. Missed out on the garland but got it this year. Can't wait for Christmas.

The only thing I don't like is that I have to untie the burlap to get to the battery.
